Colaiste Pobail Acla students competed in the North Connacht Track & Field Athletics in ATU Sligo yesterday. Students and progressed to the Connacht stage of the 100m, 200m, 1500m, Long Jump, Shot Putt and Javelin.

These events will be held in Athlone next month. Well done to everyone who competed 👏👏

Today we had the pleasure of a visit from Irish poet and writer Nessa O'Mahony. Nessa is the current writer in residence at the Heinrich Boll cottage. Nessa shared her views on the processes of writing poetry and also considered what sort of subjects might be interesting to write about.
