Huge congratulations to our four students - Conor McGinty, Briain Daly, Joey Hanley and Matthew Maloney - who represented CPA at the Connacht Cross Country Finals in Loughrea yesterday.

They showed great determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout and represented CPA extremely well - táimid an-bhródúil asaibh 👏

A special mention to Briain Daly, who finished an outstanding 6th overall in the Intermediate Boys race and has now qualified for the All-Ireland Schools Cross Country Championships in Belfast next month - éacht iontach! ⭐

Our 1st & 2nd year boys gave a great account of themselves at an ETB blitz in Castlebar recently. The boys won 5 out of 5 games against teams from Lacken, Tourmakeady, Davitt College, Foxford, and Swinford. Well done lads 💪🏼🏐

Fintan Friel is the current Artist in Residence at the Heinrich Boll Cottage. He visited Coláiste Pobail Acla last week to screen his presentation 'West of Ireland Aesthetic' to our fifth year students. After lively questions and discussions, students were treated to selection of his work. Thank you to Fintan for giving his time to engage with the students.
