Our TY students have been put through their paces over the past few weeks as they were taught basic self defence skills and given an awareness on assault, sexual assault and rape.

Students from Coláiste Pobail Acla visited Leinster House yesterday. The group were guests of Mayo Fine Gael Deputy Keira Keogh, who greeted the students upon arrival along with Mayo Fianna Fáil Deputy Dara Calleary.

The students were accompanied by Mr. Ó Mongáin and Ms Reilly. The students were given a guided tour where they explored the historic buildings, visited the Dáil and Seanad Chambers, and learned more about the day-to-day workings of national politics.

Our Leaving Cert students will have their graduation ceremony next Thursday 22nd May from 6.30pm. We look forward to celebrating with our 6th years and their families.
