Our girls played in the MSLETB Peil Gaelach na mBan competition in the Centre of Excellence, Bekan, today.
Our girls had matches against other MSLETB schools including overall winners Saint Brendan's College, Belmullet, Coláiste Iascaigh, Sligo, St. Tiernans Crossmolina and Lacken Cross.
Well done to all those who participated in todays competition and thanks to Ms. Munroe for helping to organise this event.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of one of our former students, Luca Callaghan.
On behalf of the entire student cohort, staff and Board of Management of Coláiste Pobail Acla, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Luca's family—his parents Darren and Fidelma, his brothers Ciaran, Cody, Rhys, and Dean, his grandmother Phillis, as well as his uncles, aunts, grand-uncles, grand-aunts, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Luca's passing has left an indelible impact on all who knew him.
His love and interest for engineering, rallying and mechanics was evident as he bid farewell to his classmates in the Leaving Certificate this year to begin a motor apprenticeship. His enthusiasm for practical work shone brightly through his entrepreneurial spirit, as he ran a car valeting business that served the local community.
Luca will be remembered not only for his talents but for the kindness, energy, and promise he brought to every endeavour. As we mourn his loss, we hold his family and friends in our thoughts.
