This morning the transition year students, along with Paul and Patricia McGinty, unveiled a bench in memory of Joe McGinty, who sadly passed away in September 2021.
Currently, the bench is located overlooking the shore, near rooms 17-20.
Well done to the transition year students on their fundraising efforts for the bench and for organising this morning’s unveiling.

Orthodox Easter in Ukraine, known as Velykden, was celebrated on Sunday 5th May. On the following Wednesday we celebrated in school with paska (traditional Easter cake), made by one of our Ukrainian students, poster making and traditional egg painting known as pysanky. This involved designing patterns on eggs using beeswax before dipping the eggs in dye. Thanks to everyone who got involved especially all of our Ukrainian students for teaching us about these traditions!
